TOURNAMENTS

This page is dedicated to the upcoming tournaments first in Arizona and surrounding states and then the United States

Tournaments have resumed in Arizona in 2021.  I will attempt to post when and where they are for those students who are interested.  Students should know that tournaments usually have a fee.  Any student who chooses to participate in a tournament will have the option of having the next belt test moved up.

As a student of Total 360 Karate Studio remember you represent your class, your Sensei, the City of Prescott Valley. We are exemplary in how we conduct ourselves. Beyond all of that, we represent Chito Ryu Karate. Through karate, we represent the ability to control our emotions and how we react. As such be humble when victorious and kind to others. Show no frustration on the floor.

Reminders for a tournament

- bow to anyone that bows to you

- show respect always

- conduct yourself as if your Sensei is standing right next to you if he is not.

- uniforms should be sharp, pressed and tied properly

- remember a tournament is no bigger than what we conduct in our tournaments

- bow or shake the hands of any that beats you

- a deeper bow is reserved for the judges or any black belt you come in contact with

- no arguing with the judges

- respect the rules of the tournament
